Another year, another juice fast

Hi all,

it's been a while since I last shared some news! But after a relaxing Holiday break in Germany with Parris - who for the first time got to meet my most immediate family - we are preparing for our second, annual juice fast.

Tomorrow, we will start eating grain free and vegan and start juicing on January 13th for 14 days in total. I have been looking forward to this since the beginning of December, just because I feel I really want to focus a bit more on healthy nutrition and exercising.

Here are a few recipes that I am looking forward to making in the next 10 days. Our regimen is to juice for breakfast and have one (max. two) cups of coffee. Then have something light like a salad or a soup for lunch. For dinner we will be making steamed veggies with soy or tofu or maybe legumes.

This year, I really want to keep a log of all the ups and downs before and during the fast along with before, during and after pictures of myself as well as a food diary!
