Fun things to do in NYC - part 1

Well hello there! I have been working on this post now for quite a while and I am so happy to share this with you in little bites... over the next couple of weeks I will share with you what my and my friends most favorite places, restaurants, spas, shopping destinations and bars are! I asked my friends what they would do if they had $500 and an entire day to themselves! Read and enjoy!

Let's start with what's holy to every New Yorker - Brunch!

Brooklyn:
{Juliette} in Williamsburg, North 5th and Bedford, their eggs Benedict are amazing! And in the summer you can sit on the roof and enjoy watching the tourists on Bedford Ave.

{Fabien’s} in Williamsburg, North 5th and Bedford try any of the backed eggs and the Spinach & Shitake Mushroom Salad is a MUST.

{Enid’s} in Williamsburg, Metropolitan and Driggs, amazing home made American food. Their cheddar grits is my favorite!

Manhattan:
{Veselka} in the East Village, 144 2nd Ave (corner of 9th St.) the tuna salad sandwich is amazing as well as the chicken noodle soup and the lentil soup. Love the pierogis!

{Cozy’s Soup and Burger} in the Village, Broadway and Astor Pl., has the best turkey burger and split pea soup! Actually, any burger works! This is a real time diner with bright neon lights and old school waiters.

{Bubby’s} at 120 Hudson St. in Tribeca is known for it’s fantastic brunch – keep in mind that do not take reservation and most of the time it's a good half hour wait! But so worth it! The eggs, the sandwiches, the service – what can I say – outstanding would be the right word I guess!
